CermePOS has now been successfully registered as a partner of official certification service provider A-Trust and as such will have access to checkout certificates for the soon-to-be mandatory digital signatures.<\/p>\n<p>As of 1 January 2017, all cash registers in Austria must be equipped with a technical security device, a certain device for the secure creation of signatures (signature card). With this signature card, all data of the POS system \/ POS system is digitally signed and thus protected against manipulation. In addition, all receipts will be signed with advanced electronic signatures.<\/p>\n<p>To make these signatures legal, a certain cash register certificate is required.
